TOGETHER WE RISE is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the way youth navigate through the foster care system in America. They are founded on a vision of supporting foster youth without becoming a foster parent. 

 

THE HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation together serve as America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality. 

 

RAISE A CHILD works to build loving families for foster children by recruiting and supporting LGBT and all prospective parents interested in building families through fostering and adopting. 

 

FAMILY EQUALITY COUNCIL is changing attitudes and policies to ensure all families are respected, loved, and celebrated — especially those with parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.

 

THE DAVE THOMAS FOUNDATION FOR ADOPTION is driven by a single goal: finding a loving family for every child waiting in foster care to get adopted. 

 

THE NATIONAL CENTER ON ADOPTION AND PERMANENCY is a unique “one-stop” nonprofit organization that provides a broad range of information, resources, consultation and multidisciplinary services  relating to adoption, foster care and child welfare.

 

Our Family Coalition advances equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) families with children through support, education, and advocacy.

 

CALIFORNIA YOUTH CONNECTION (CYC) is a youth led organization that develops leaders who empower each other and their communities to transform the foster care system through legislative, policy, and practice change.

ADOPTION EXCHANGE ASSOCIATION is the country's premiere national association of adoption professionals, serving its members by stimulating innovative solutions, eliminating barriers, advocating, educating, and sharing excellent practice. 

 

HELP US ADOPT is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $15,000.  

 

COLAGE unites people with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer parents and caregivers into a network of peers and supports them as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.

 

FIRST PLACE FOR YOUTH serves to help foster kids build the skills they need to make a successful transition to self-sufficiency and responsible adulthood.

 

CHILD WELFARE LEAGUE OF AMERICA leads and engages its network of public and private agencies and partners to advance policies, best practices and collaborative strategies that result in better outcomes for children, youth and families that are vulnerable.
